WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man has been charged Friday, May 17, in connection to a murder that happened back in 2021, where a man was found dead lying face down in the parking lot in Winston-Salem, according to police.
Winston-Salem police said back in February 2021, they were called to Coliseum Drive about a shooting. When they arrived, they found 35-year-old Te’ore Eugene Terry suffering from a gunshot wound, and police said he died at the scene.
More than three years later, police said 28-year-old Jaquane Juarre Fair was arrested without incident by their Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team.
Investigators said Fair was charged with felony murder in connection to the murder of Terry.
Fair is behind bars at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center without bond.
