RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A man is charged for exploiting a minor in Randolph County, according to the Task Force.

During the month of October, the Invictus Task Force began investigating a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

As a result of the investigation, the Task Force charged 40-year-old Steven Wayne Beasley with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was arrested on Nov. 8 and taken to the Davidson County Detention Center where he was given a $5,000 bond.

Beasley's first appearance is Tuesday.

This investigation is ongoing.
