GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is facing a murder charge after fatally stabbing his roommate in Greensboro, deputies said.
Deputies responded to Forest Road in Greensboro Monday morning regarding a dead body investigation, according to Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., deputies discovered Chancy Beck, 47, dead at home with stab wounds.
During the investigation, deputies arrested Zachary Small, 28, for first-degree murder. They said Small lived at the home with Beck.
Small is currently at the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro without bond. He appeared in court Tuesday.
Deputies said this incident is considered isolated and domestic-isolated, with no threat to the community.
