ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A man is facing charges after deputies say he was arrested within 30 minutes of the robbery.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a report of an armed robbery on the 1900 block of N. NC 49 Hwy in Green Level Monday around 3:21 p.m.
During the investigation, deputies said the victim said that a man he knew as “Q”, took out a gun and took $1,180 in cash along with a key fob belonging to another car.
Deputies were able to identify the suspect as Kawuan Lynn, 33, based on evidence and a description provided by the victim.
According to deputies, Lynn is a convicted felon.
Lynn was found and arrested at his home in Green Level, deputies said.
Deputies said Lynn was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center.
Lynn is charged with the following:
- Felony Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon
- Felony Possession of Firearm by Felon
- Misdemeanor Communicating Threats
