GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is arrested after a shooting that happened on March 11 in Greensboro, Guilford County deputies say.
Deputies arrested 24-year-old Devin Matthew Smith as he was being released from the hospital Friday after his involvement in a shooting on McConnell Road.
Smith is charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and one count of discharging a barreled weapon into an occupied dwelling.
He was taken to the Greensboro Detention Center with a $50,000 bond. He was released the same day.
The investigation remains ongoing.
