Police request info in Kernersville armed robbery

Kernersville police are looking for a suspect who was involved in an armed robbery at the Truliant Federal Credit Union.

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — The Kernersville Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday morning.

According to the KPD, officers responded to the Truliant Federal Credit Union at 794-A S. Main St. in Kernersville after receiving reports of an armed robbery. When they arrived, the suspect had already left the area in a white Dodge Challenger.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect are encouraged to contact the Kernersville Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 336-996-3177.

It is unclear at this time what, if anything, the suspect was able to steal from the credit union.
