Teen, man shot on Phillips Ave. in Greensboro, police say

Officers said the victims were taken to the hospital in a private car.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a teen and a 20-year-old man were shot on Phillips Avenue in Greensboro Friday night. 

Officers responded to the 2400 block just before 10:30 p.m. when they were told that two people were taken to the hospital in a private car. 

The teen had non-life-threatening injuries and the 20-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition. 

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. 

This investigation is ongoing.
