Woman arrested in connection to Lexington church fire, Davidson Co. officials say

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A woman was arrested on Nov. 12 after a warrant for her arrest was issued on Nov. 8 for setting a church on fire the weekend of the Lexington Barbecue Festival, according to the Davidson County Clerk of Courts Office. 

Aimee Lynn Lakey appeared in court Monday after receiving a felony charge for setting Jesus Comes First church on fire in October. 

Davidson County officials said Lakey's bond is currently set at $25,000 bond.
