KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A man suspected of robbing several Aldi grocery stores across North Carolina while wearing an Incredible Hulk mask has been arrested.
Kernersville Police say Lionel Vernard Robinson of Wendell, North Carolina is charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of entering a premise wearing a mask/hood/disguise, four counts of second degree kidnapping, and four counts of assault by pointing a gun.
Police say Robinson robbed the Kernersville Aldi with a gun back in March, and forced the employees into an office.
He's also accused of robbing Aldi stores in Lexington, Fayetteville, Rocky Mount, and Indian Trail.
Robinson is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center.
