GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon on Holden Road in Greensboro, according to police.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to the 1600 block of Holden Road in the area of the Latham Town neighborhood shortly after 2 p.m. They found one person suffering from a gunshot wound and transported them to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said the shooting was a result of an altercation on the side of the road.
Leland Auston Satterfield, 18, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, according to police.
This was not a case of road rage and was an isolated incident, police said.
