HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police in High Point are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday around 1:40 pm.
Officers found the man after responding to a shooting call in the 400 block of Vail Avenue. When they arrived on the scene, officers reported seeing several bullet holes in the man's car.
Investigators found a 38-year-old man who had been gunshot. He was able to provided some details to police before he was taken to a local hospital. He is listed in serious condition, police say.
The shooting is still under investigation.
