HIGH POINT, N.C. — The mother of a man murdered in a Guilford County home invasion spoke out in frustration.
Kristian Tillman-Little died last month during a home invasion in High Point.
Police said the suspect was out on bond for a separate murder charge.
The count's decision has changed Carmencita William's life forever.
This is the second son she's had to bury in four years. They were twins.
The youngest was hit by a car and Kristian Tillman-Little was gunned down in his own home.
“I started with four children,” Williams cried, “no mother wants to have to bury a child.”
Williams spoke with teary eyes outside her son's High Point home.
It's where police say they found the 27-year-old shot dead on Sept. 28.
"It was unfair," Williams said. "If they robbed him, they got what they wanted. Why didn't they just leave? Why did they have to leave that kind of mark? It was unnecessary. He may have known them I don't know."
A 911 call from the night of the murder shed light on the home invasion.
"911 what's your emergency? Someone just got shot I'm hiding In the bathroom. I don't know if anyone has something in here. My boyfriend just got robbed."
High Point Police said Zyeicoren Little drove to Tillman-littles home on Westdale Drive broke in, robbed, and killed him.
This is all while Little had two people he kidnapped from another city in the car.
Police said the two kidnap victims were able to escape and get help from neighbors.
To make matters worse Little was out on bond for another murder from last year where Police say he killed DeMaurice Turner.
Little's attorney said he stands behind the decision to lower his bond, saying Little had no criminal record at the time.
"It was pure evil," Williams said. "I don't understand why he was released on bond it says it was a self-defense thing but this justice needs to be served because my son gets killed for no reason. We're not going to be the same if something is not done."
While Williams waits for closure, she'll sit at her son's memorial and find peace in pleasant memories.
"He smiled all the time," Williams went on to say. "He loved his family. and tomorrow he would've been 28 years old."
Tillman-Little's three daughters are left to grow up without their father.
As for Little, he's in jail without bond.
