HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point man is facing multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and was arrested early Friday morning, police say.
A search took place on the 500 block of Pomeroy Place where investigators seized digital evidence and a gun.
Officers arrested Ricky Vernon, 63, with three counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and felony possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Additional charges are expected, according to police.
Officers said Vernon is on a $1 million bond at the Guilford County Jail.
This is an active investigation.
