HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police said a 21-year-old man is back in custody for the second time in less than a week.
High Point police said Lorenzo A. Aguilar, 21, of High Point, has been connected to recent shootings.
Wednesday, officers charged Aguilar with two felony probation violations.
He is being held in the Guilford County Jail in High Point under no bond.
Investigators said Aguilar has been arrested by the High Point Police Department four times this year.
His charges include:
Jan. 9: Arrested for a Failure to Appear out of Randolph County
Feb. 23: Served a criminal summons for Injury to Personal Property
May 9: Arrested and charged with three counts of Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill, Firearm by Felon, and two counts of Discharging Into Occupied Property. He was given a $115,000 bond and posted it on May 10, 2024.
At the time of this arrest, he was on probation for Assault, Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, and Speeding to Elude Arrest. Those charges are related to a 2022 case in another jurisdiction.
May 15, 2024: Arrested and charged with two felony probation violations.
