THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A 21-year-old accused of murder in two separate cases in High Point is now facing an attempted murder charge in Thomasville, according to police.
Thomasville police said Zyicoren Little is a suspect in the case where a 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded on East Guilford Street in September 2021. Police said the shooting was gang-related.
In May 2022, Little was accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old man at a High Point Walmart. Police arrested Little, who was 20 years old at the time, and charged him with first-degree murder.
Little remained in jail under no bond until he was granted one during a hearing.
In 2023, Cyrus Brown, Senior Assistant District Attorney in High Point, said Little's bond motion was heard in Superior Court on July 31. Judge Craig Croom changed Little's bond to $250,000 despite the state's objection.
Little posted bond the next day and was released from jail. Two months later, police arrested him for allegedly killing someone in a High Point home invasion.
