HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point detectives arrested three suspects from South Carolina in connection with a July 1 burglary.

Detectives charged Aaron T. Barr, Jaquante E. Bethea, and Jamir D. Jones on Tuesday, July 2.

High Point police say each suspect is charged with first-degree burglary, felony conspiracy, and felony accessory after the fact.

Police responded to a residential breaking and entering call on Avery Avenue on Monday.

Police said "people at the home" told the police someone tried to open the front door and then broke a window in the back of the house to get inside.

One of the people grabbed a handgun and shot at the suspect.

The suspect then ran from the scene.

Officers were notified about a person with a gunshot wound who arrived at a local hospital. The individual is  still being treated and is in stable condition. This person was not one of the three suspects arrested.
