GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police arrested a woman accused of shooting someone in Hester Park on Sunday.
Police said they responded to the park shortly before 3 p.m. about an aggravated assault. When officers got there, they found an adult who'd been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police said Maya Asterilla, 40, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, discharge within the city limits, and carry a concealed weapon.
