EDEN, N.C. — Four people were arrested and guns, money and drugs were seized during a raid on an Eden home on October 24, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.
According to a press release, this was a joint operation between RCSO and the Eden Police Vice-Narcotics Divisions. Authorities said they served a search warrant on two separate residences, one on Cicero Trail and another on Wilshire Drive.
The following items were seized, according to the Sheriff's Office:
- a "trafficking amount" of methamphetamine
- marijuana
- oxycodone
- MDMA
- U.S. currency
- several firearms (one stolen)
- drug paraphernalia
And the following four people were arrested:
Phillip James Hedgepeth, 45: arrested on two outstanding Civil Orders for Arrest for Non-Payment of Child Support and various other outstanding warrants. Charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone, possession with intent to sell and deliver MDMA, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony maintaining a dwelling to sell drugs and resist, delay and obstructing law enforcement officers. He is at the Rockingham County Detention Facility and received no bond.
Brittany Nicole Jaizlip, 29: arrested on one outstanding warrant. Charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, resist, delay and obstructing law enforcement officers, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $52,000 bond.
Candance Marie Gillespie, 43: charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. She received a $10,000 bond.
Clinton Ryan Dean, 45: charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a dwelling and possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine. He received a $100,000 bond.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said additional arrests are expected in this investigation.
