ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A gun was seized from a student at a high school in Alamance County Thursday.
Alamance-Burlington School System officials said a gun with two bullets in the magazine was confiscated from a student at Southeast Alamance High School after receiving a tip.
School officials said the school was not put on lockdown since the gun was seized within minutes of receiving the tip.
No one was injured and all students are safe.
ABSS said they have zero tolerance for weapons on campus and the student in possession of the gun will face disciplinary action to the fullest extent of their policy.
