GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- A Guilford County man was arrested on dog fighting and drug charges.
Deputies with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office said 31-year-old Travis Lamont Timberlake was charged with seven counts of Dog Fighting, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon as well as several narcotics violations.
The charges come after deputies served a narcotics search warrant on June 29 at 1024-B Grace Street in High Point. During the search, detectives said they seized trafficking amounts of narcotics as well as evidence linking Timberlake to dog fighting.
Timberlake was released from custody after he posted a $185,000 secured bond.
