Weekend shooting in Greensboro leaves 1 dead

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A shooting in Greensboro on Sunday, Sept. 1 left one man dead. Officers from the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) said they responded to a gunshot wound call at the ground floor parking deck of 304 N. Greene St. around 6:15 a.m..

Officers said they found Joseph Minor, 21, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital by EMS where he succumbed to his injuries. 

The incident is being investigated as a homicide by detectives. GPD has not yet made details about a suspect available.
