Greensboro Police Make Arrest In Triple Shooting

Greensboro Police say a man was arrested in Randolph County in connection with a triple shooting.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say a man was arrested in Randolph County in connection with a triple shooting.

Investigators say Mario Andretti Dorsett, 32, shot three people on March 29. Police say the shooting happened before 5:00 a.m. on Fairbrother Street. That's where they found Sedrick Atlee Goode, Jackii Demetrius Floyd, and James Marquel Williams with gunshot wounds. They were treated for non-life threatening injuries and have since been released from the hospital.

Police say Dorsett is a known gang member and has been arrested more than 50 times since 1997.

He currently faces two charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, two counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon, one charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury, and one charge of Discharging a Firearm in City Limits. Police say additional charges could be pending.
