GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro Police have made an arrest related to the 2023 murder of 37-year-old Lanceford Ross Williams.
Williams died on March 1, 2023 after officers found him suffering from a gunshot wound at the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Carolyn Coleman Way.
Police have charged Travis Jamar Green, 29, with first-degree murder in connection with Williams' death.
According to the GPD, Green was originally charged on March 1, 2023 with accessory after the fact to homicide and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (among other charges). He has been held at the Guilford County Jail since then.
