18-year-old charged with murder in Randleman Road shooting

Shooting on Randleman Road in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said an 18-year-old is charged in connection to a deadly shooting.

Police arrested Devonta Malik Williams of Greensboro who’s charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by felon.

Police said Williams shot Tahj Jalin Easter, 22, of Greensboro on Randleman Road.

Easter later died from his injuries.

Call came in to @GSO_Police around 5:30 for a shots fired call at the 2300 block of Randleman Rd. When police arrived they found one victim with a gunshot wound. Victim was transported to a hospital. No suspects at this time. Tune into @WFMY at 11 for more info! pic.twitter.com/IGifulkAQV
