Greensboro Police Find Wanted Man Charged With Murder Thanks To Community Tips

Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting in Greensboro.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting in Greensboro with the help of community tips.

Greensboro Police said Crime Stoppers tips helped detectives find Timotheus Yamari Grace, 19, who’s charged with First Degree Murder in the death of Dallas Lamont McClure.

Investigators said McClure was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the parking area of Claremont Courts off Phillips Avenue. Police also said another person who was shot has since been released from the hospital. Bullets from the shooting also struck several apartments but no one else was injured.

Grace surrendered himself to officers Wednesday morning. He was also facing a previous charge of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling. He was released from jail on bond but was being electronically monitored.

Grace is in the Guilford County Jail without bond.
