GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Woodbriar Avenue just after 11 p.m. Thursday night. They found 25-year-old Derek Brown Sr. and 24-year-old Sharease Haley suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said both victims succumbed to their injuries. The investigation remains in its early stages, but police said preliminary information indicates the victims knew each other.
