GREENSBORO, N.C. — Investigators arrested a man accused of posing as a bank worker to scam a victim.

Detectives said a Georgia man pretended to be a fraud investigator with Wells Fargo.

He stole someone's banking information and used it to commit fraud in banks throughout the Triad.

Deputies said he went to Greensboro, High Point, Archdale, and Lexington banks to get cashier's checks.

Investigators said he stole more than $20,000. They arrested him last week in Georgia.

He'll be extradited to North Carolina to face more than a dozen charges.
