GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say a 2-month-old female French bulldog puppy was stolen from the Friendly Pets store in Friendly Center Friday night.
Update: The puppy was found and returned to the store! Greensboro Police recovered the dog Tuesday Morning and returned it to Friendly Pets around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
A store employee says the police took her to the vet to treat her for pink eye before she was returned. She did not have pink eye before she was stolen. Store employees are very happy to have her back.
Greensboro Police say they will be releasing more information soon.

The store's general manager says two men asked to play with the puppy in an enclosed play area inside the store. The store has play areas for customers to interact with all the pets.
She says one of the men left the store and got in a Chevy Tahoe. The other man asked to play with the puppy for a couple more minutes, which the staff allowed.
Friendly Pets says that's when the man grabbed the dog, ran out the door, got in the Chevy Tahoe with the other man, and took off.
The store says the puppy is valued at $4,500 and is micro-chipped.
