A former Trinity High worker has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a special needs student on a school bus.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said the incident took place on the school bus Wednesday afternoon. Investigators said, Dennis Ray Johnson of Franklinville admitted to the incident. They also said warrants reveal he was a custodian/school bus driver at the school.
He’s been charged with one count of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Student by School Personnel other than a teacher, school administrator, student teacher, school safety officer or coach. He’s also charged with one count of Assault on an Individual with Disabilities.
Johnson was placed in the Randolph County Jail on a $5,000 secured bond.
