BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are looking for a suspect who robbed Family Dollar at gunpoint Wednesday night.
Around 9 p.m., police said they got a call to 1519 Rauhut Street about an armed robbery.
When officers arrived, the clerk said the suspect walked into the store, approached the clerk behind the counter, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and stole an unknown amount of money. The suspect then took off toward Sharpe Road.
According to police, no injuries were reported during this robbery.
The suspect was described as a man with a slim build and approximately 5’5” tall. He was wearing all black and a red bandana covering his face.
