EDEN, N.C. — An Eden man was arrested for secret peeping and other charges in Rockingham County.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office said they executed a search warrant for a home on the 300 block of Anderson Road in Eden on April 23 with the assistance of the members of the Invictus Task Force under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Deputies said the search warrant was executed after they received information from an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation where photographs and other materials were being downloaded depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators said Jonathan Andrew Shive, 58, of Eden was arrested and charged with Secret Peeping, Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Indecent Liberties with a Minor.
Shive is being held in the Rockingham County Detention Facility. His bond is set at $100,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
