RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — An employee is accused of stealing thousands from a Dollar General in Randolph County, according to deputies.
The Randolph County Sheriff's Office said they received a call about a theft on Jan. 10 to the store located on Main Street in Randleman about a theft/larceny. When they arrived, the regional manager reported 19 missing cash deposits between October 2023 and December 2023, totaling $58,434.78
After an investigation, investigators said charges were sought against 26-year-old Monica Nicole Stickler for 19 counts of felony larceny by an employee.
Deputies said they arrested Stickler Friday, March 22, where she was given a secured bond of $45,000.
Her first appearance was set for March 25.
