DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The Invictus Task Force has arrested 34-year-old Donald M. Howard in Davidson County following an investigation into alleged online solicitation of a minor.
Authorities charged Howard with multiple serious offenses, including one count of indecent liberties, one count of solicitation of a minor by computer, one count of felony dissemination of harmful material to a minor, and statutory rape.
The investigation began in early November, according to the Task Force, which resulted with Howard’s arrest on November 12.
He was taken to the Davidson County Detention Center, where a magistrate set his bond at $75,000. Howard’s first court appearance is scheduled for November 13 in Davidson County District Court.
This investigation is ongoing.
