Investigators say Allen Jr. has a record with High Point Police. He was charged last year with assaulting Vickie Allen, but it's not clear if he was convicted for that.
Police say this all stemmed from a domestic issue. They believe all parties agreed to meet at the gas station, but then the meeting turned violent. Police say someone assaulted Allen, then he stabbed all three victims, killing his wife and daughter.
A family friend tells WFMY News 2 Andrea was a mother herself, with 2 children.
Allen Jr. was charged with two counts of Murder and one count of Attempted Murder. He's in Guilford Co. Jail with no bond. There have been 11 homicide victims in High Point this year according to High Point Police.
Police responded to the stabbing at the Bizzy Bee Gas and Grocery on Prospect Street shortly after 9 p.m.
