GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman is dead and a man is severely injured after a hit-and-run on US-29, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
At around 10:09 p.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle struck the back of a moped. A man and a woman were ejected from the moped.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said they were able to find the suspect vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
