Burlington man arrested for allegedly firing gun in apartment complex, police say

Burlington police said 51-year-old Orlando Sentoris Hatfield is wanted for firing a gun inside an apartment complex.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police arrested a man tied to a shooting at a Burlington apartment complex.

Orlando Sentoris Hatfield, 51, was arrested on the 400 block of Williamson Street in Burlington on Monday, April 8.

He was served with his outstanding warrant and is currently being held on a $100,000 secured bond.

On April 2, the Burlington Police Department said they were called to the 2400 block of Moran Street about a report of a shooting. When they arrived, police said no one was injured, but there was evidence of a shooting inside an apartment. 

During the investigation, the police said they identified 51-year-old Orlando Sentoris Hatfield as the shooting suspect.
