DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — Three people suspected of being part of a burglary ring are facing over 50 more charges in Davie County, according to the Davie County Sheriff's Office.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office, Davie County Sheriff's Office, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the Winston-Salem Police Department are investigating a string of break-ins in their jurisdictions.
More than 96 breaking and entering cases occurred in the aforementioned areas over the span of six months.
Five people were arrested in August in connection to the crimes.
Of the five, Jowaun Monte Sansbury, 30, Trvarus Quintez Rhynes, 26, and Michael Lamont Horne Jr., 26, are facing 54 more felony charges.
The charges include breaking and entering, larceny, conspiracy and firearm larceny.
Deputies said the suspects would knock or ring doorbells and if no one answered, they would kick in the door. Most of the break-ins would occur during working hours, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The investigation is still ongoing.
