Over $1,000 worth of home appliances stolen from High Point home

HIGH POINT, N.C. — More than $1,000 worth of home appliances and goods were stolen from a home in High Point on Monday, according to the High Point Police Department.

The suspect, whose name was not immediately made available, allegedly broke a window to enter the home on Thissell Street.

While inside the home, $1,780 of appliances were taken including a ceiling fan, a sink faucet and multiple lamps. Smoke detectors and door knobs were also stolen.

There is no known relationship between the suspect and the homeowner at this time.
