HIGH POINT, N.C.-- High Point police say a traffic stop led to the arrested of two men for trafficking drugs after officers found a large amount of heroin in the car.
One of the men, Kason H. Harrington is facing his fifth arrest for drug trafficking charges in the Triad. WFMY News 2 reported on Harrington after he was arrest this past April. Investigators say Harrington was also a known rapper who went by the name G$B. In his April 2018 arrest investigators seized 145.5 grams of heroin, including the lethal Fentanyl mix called gray death as well as 930.5 grams of suspected Marijuana and 7 firearms.
During Friday's arrest, officers say after stopping a car on a traffic violation, just before 11:00 p.m., they searched it and found a large amount of heroin. Harrington and another man, Jadarrius T. Mallette were both arrested and charged.
Harrington's charges include:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Trafficking Heroin by Manufacturing a Controlled Substance
- Trafficking Heroin by Transporting a Controlled Substance
- Possession with The Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin within 1000 feet of a Park
- Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale of Narcotics, and traffic violations
Harrison's bond was set at $1,050,000.00. He was booked into the Guilford County Jail in High Point.
Mallette is charged with:
- Trafficking Heroin by Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Trafficking Heroin by Manufacturing a Controlled Substance
- Trafficking Heroin by Transporting a Controlled Substance
- Possession with The Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin within 1000 feet of a Park
Mallette's bond was also set at $1,050, 000.00 at the High Point Jail.
