ASHEBORO, N.C. — An Asheboro man was arrested after breaking into a pregnant woman's home and assaulting her on Sunday, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they were called to a welfare check in Asheboro. They found the woman who told deputies she woke up to someone banging on her door.
Brady Galarza, 31, broke into the home damaged the door and assaulted the woman, according to deputies.
Deputies say the victim knows Galarza.
Galarza was arrested on Monday and charged with felony breaking and entering, misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor battery of an unborn child, and misdemeanor injury to real property.
He is being held on no bond.
