ASHEBORO, N.C. — The Asheboro Police Department have responded to 10 reported car break-ins over the last couple of nights.

The car break-ins are happening in Greystone and Dixieland Acres neighborhoods. In one case, a handgun was stolen from a car.

Police are urging people to continue locking their doors and to not leave anything of value in plain sight.
