ARCHDALE, N.C. — Archdale police are searching for two men who robbed a Circle K at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
Officers said the robbery happened just before 5 a.m. when two men entered the store on N Main St.
They were wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black face gaiters, black pants, and black shoes.
One suspect stayed at the entrance of the store while the other approached the clerk. The second suspect removed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun from a black crossbody bag hidden under his sweatshirt, pointed it at the store clerk and demanded that he empty the register.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken, and both suspects ran way heading westbound, police say.
It is believed they were later picked up by a dark-colored four-door sedan with silver wheels. No one was injured during this incident.
There is currently no information available as this is an ongoing investigation.
