BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University officials said a suspect is in custody following a stabbing on campus Thursday.
Students got an App State alert around 12:30 p.m. The school reported there was a stabbing in the area of Peacock Hall and that a suspect left in a Black Toyota convertible. Students were told to avoid the area.
A few minutes later, the school said the suspects were in custody. However, the final update on the App State alert system website mentioned only one suspect is in custody.
