LEXINGTON, N.C. — A man was arrested for allegedly killing two dogs in Lexington on July 1, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office (DCSO).
Deputies said they were called to the home on 1st Circle for two dogs that were found dead on the front porch.
Twelve other dogs were seized by deputies "due to exigent circumstances", deputies said.
Christopher Mullins was arrested for killing the two dogs and was hit with two felony animal cruelty charges, 14 misdemeanor animal cruelty charges and one local ordinance charge.
Mullins is being held on a $500,000 bond, according to deputies.
