Ambulance Stolen During App State Game; Police Offer Reward

BOONE, N.C.--- Police in Boone are hoping money will motivate someone to tell them who stole an ambulance during the App State, Georgia Southern football game Thursday night. 

Police say around 9:00pm, a Watauga Medics ambulance was taken from Kid Brewer Stadium on the campus of Appalachian State University. The emergency vehicle was seen traveling south on NC 105 near Poplar Grove Road south. Officers foun the ambulance, a short while later, abandoned at The Cottages of Boone. 

A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
