Amber Alert canceled for 2-year-old girl from Virginia

Police believe the suspect possibly took her to North Carolina.

RALEIGH, N.C. — UPDATE: This Amber Alert has been canceled.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Zuri Dorsey. She is believed to be endangered.

The NC Center for Missing Persons said she was taken from 1351 Sapphire Drive in Virginia Beach, VA, and could be en route to North Carolina.

Zuri is said to be a 2-year-old girl, about 2 ft. tall and weighing about 34 lbs. She is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing pink & white pajamas.

The NC Center for Missing Persons said Zuri could have been changed into a green, Christmas-themed, zip-up sleeper.

Zuri is believed to be with Deandre Alante Dorsey. He is said to be a 27-year-old man who is about 5 ft. 11 in. tall and weighs about 160 lbs. The NCCFMP describes him as having black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue joggers.

The suspect vehicle is a red 2016 Honda Accord with NC license tag number RAZ-9972.
