ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A Gibsonville man was arrested and charged with harassment on Aug. 3 for allegedly making multiple sexual phone calls to two women at their job.

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said on June 6 their detectives received a report that a man had been stalking two female realtors in Alamance County while they were at work. They'd gotten multiple lewd sexual phone calls and texts.

Detectives were able to trace the calls back to Malik DeAndre Pitts, 29, by reaching out to cellular carriers. The victims said they didn't know Pitts.

Alamance County detectives moved to charge Pitts with one count of misdemeanor stalking and one count of misdemeanor harassing phone calls. They soon found he wasn't living at his address in Gibsonville, but instead, he was in High Point.

The arrest was then turned over to the High Point Police Department who took Pitts into custody.  There he was served the warrants from the Alamance County Sheriff's Office.

He's now being held in High Point with no bond.
