WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man was arrested after a deadly shooting at a Winston-Salem business.
Winston-Salem police said they responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of Adams Market at 3800 Northampton Drive Saturday shortly before 1 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found Daron Lamonta Bines Jr., 33, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.
Police said 39-year-old Matthew Maurice Peterson had since been arrested and charged with felony firearm by a felon, felony discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and felony murder.
He is behind bars without bond.
Peterson is scheduled to appear in court on June 12.
