Alamance County, N.C. -- An ongoing meth investigation in Alamance County netted five more arrests, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies say Bridgett Dawson, Travis Withrow, Nickolas Harvell, Shannon Hedrick, and Jessica Anthony were all arrested for various drug-related charges on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office says based on information from a meth bust last week, investigators got a search warrant for a room at the Knights Inn Motel in Burlington, believed to be occupied by multiple people.

Investigators found 3.8 grams of meth and multiple drug paraphernalia items, and as a result, arrested five people.

Deputies say more arrests are expected.
