GREENSBORO, N.C. — Four people were arrested and drugs, guns and cash were seized last week after a joint investigation by the Greensboro Police Department, the Guilford County Sheriff's Office, the High Point Police Department and the DEA.
Warrants were served last week following an investigation into the "Henry Smith drug trafficking organization." In total, two kilograms of Fentanyl, 54 grams of methamphetamine, 10 firearms (one stolen) and $15,000 in cash.
The street value for two kilograms of Fentanyl is around $200,000.
The following people were arrested as a result of the operation:
- Henry Montarious Smith, 38, of Greensboro: Conspire to traffic fentanyl; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of stolen handgun.
- Derek Kamal Harper, 39, of Greensboro: Trafficking fentanyl; conspire to traffic fentanyl; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; federal warrant for arrest was served, currently being held as federal inmate with no bond.
- Alexander Robinson Jr., 24, of Greensboro: Trafficking fentanyl; conspire to traffic fentanyl; maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substances; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
- Niyah Ann Crawford, 20, of Greensboro: Trafficking fentanyl; conspire to traffic fentanyl; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.
- Shakeem Latif Peterson-Brock, 29, of Greensboro: Possession of firearm by convicted felon.
